Welcome to Worship
St John the Baptist, Tideswell, is part of a welcoming Church of England parish serving Tideswell, Litton, Cressbrook and Wormhill. Worship takes place in Tideswell every Sunday morning, with additional services in our village churches.
Whether you live locally, are visiting the Peak District, or are exploring faith, you are warmly welcome to join us.
Tideswell is also home to a Methodist and United Reformed Church congregation at Fountain Square, with whom we share opportunities for worship.

Fountain Square Church (Methodist & United Reformed)
The Methodist and United Reformed Church congregation at Fountain Square, Tideswell, usually meets at 10:30am on Sundays, except on the first Sunday of the month when they join us for the 9:30am Café Church gathering at St John's Institute.

A simple service of readings and prayer every Wednesday morning at 8:30am, including prayers associated with the church's Prayer Tree.
Final Monday of Month · 12:00 noon
Mindful Mondays
Location: The Chancel, St John the Baptist, Tideswell
Usually held on the final Monday of the month at 12:00 noon. Thirty minutes of guided silence, providing a quiet space for peace and reflection.
