Worship at St Johns

There is a service of worship at St John the Baptist Church in Tideswell every Sunday morning plus services in at least two of the village churches each sunday. Visitors to the area will be warmly welcomed. Our usual sunday pattern is…….

8am Holy Communion, St John the Baptist, Tideswell (First sunday of each month). A quiet service without hymns, lasting about 30minutes.

9.30am Holy Communion, St John the Baptist, Tideswell (replaced by Taste and See, cafe style worship for all ages in the Church Institute on the 1st sunday of each month)

3pm Tea and Hymns at Cressbrook (2nd Sunday) an informal service with prayer and readings plus popular hymns.

3pm Roots and Shoots at Wormhill on the 3rd Sunday of each month (replaces evening service)

6.30pm Evening Service at Wormhill (usually Holy Communion on 2nd and 4th Sunday, Evening Prayer on 1st sunday but this may vary).

There is also a service of Holy Communion in the Lady Chapel at John the Baptist, Tideswell at 9.15am each Tuesday morning.
